THE UJIMA GLOBAL LEADERS PROGRAM

This scholarship program identifies students who have the potential to become agents for positive global change. The program is focused on developing leaders for an increasingly diverse and complex world. Scholarship recipients are selected by the John D. O’Bryant African-American Institute and Admissions. TORCH SCHOLARS PROGRAM

A Northeastern University national initiative scholarship program to recruit and retain first generation college students with promise. APPLICATION FEE WAIVEDNortheastern University will waive the application fee for all applicants currently attending Boston Public High Schools.

FOUNDATION YEAR

Northeastern’s one-year, non-residential program enrolls students in a full-year of college credit through the College of Professional Studies. This cohort model accepts 75 students per year and integrates rigorous academics with academic and advising services for students in their first year of college. If a student demonstrates financial need, the entire cost of the program is covered by federal entitlements and Northeastern funding. Students admitted to Northeastern’s full time undergraduate day program after the completion of Foundation Year are awarded full-tuition scholarships to the university.
