ABOUT BOSTON NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK

Boston Neighborhood Network is a non-pro"t community media production center distributing local, non-commercial programming created by residents, non-pro"t organizations and public agencies in the City of Boston.

Since 1983, Boston Neighborhood Network has provided professional training and services to cablecast a variety of relevant information, increase access to city supports, o!er a valuable medium to share local resources and give a direct voice to the community to promote unique opportunities for advancement.

24 hours a day, seven days a week, our News and Information channel, Comcast 9 | RCN 15, and Community TV channel, Comcast 23 | RCN 83 re#ect the diversity of our city and areas of public importance and concern often overlooked by other media outlets.

NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK NEWS

The mission of NNN is to concentrate on the news of Boston itself. Through its coverage and by serving as a platform for a variety of guests, the show is both a forum and a crossroads for the full range of the city’s communities. NNN combines the local talents of neighborhood correspondents, long-standing reporters, freelance contributors, student interns and a core sta! to create an in-depth news program that is devoted exclusively to Boston issues.

Produced at Boston University’s College of Communications, the half-hour program is cablecast Monday through Friday at 5:30, 9:30 and 11:00 PM. The program reaches beyond breaking news to bring you stories that are rarely available on other local television venues.

To submit a story or request to our news director Chris Lovett, or for more information about our NNN intern and volunteer program, contact:Chris LovettNeighborhood Network News
