offers the option of an innovative full-flat cargo floor. When folded down, the 60/40 split rear

seats create a completely level floor which increases the total cargo area to a massive 1.642 litres.

All i30 engines also offer the option of our innovative Blue Drive™ technology for even greater fuel economy. That includes a high–torque four–cylinder 1.6 litre diesel capable of 128 PS, yet with CO2 emissions of only 97 g/km for 5- and 3door model and 110 g/km for the Wagon.

Maximise fuel economy with Blue drive™. Our optional Blue Drive™ technology adds a wealth of features to increase the efficiency of your i30 even more. Blue Drive™ technology includes low rolling resistance tyres for leaner fuel consumption, an alternator management system for reduced energy use, and an Integrated Stop & Go system. This cuts the engine when the car is at a standstill, then instantly resumes power when you hit the accelerator.

The i30 diesel range starts with a smooth 1.4 litre that provides 90 PS. Also available are two high–torque diesel engines: a 1.6 litre low output with 110 PS and a 1.6 litre high output that delivers an impressive 128 PS. Every i30 diesel features an all–aluminium ladder frame construction for improved durability and reduced noise, plus a diesel particle filter as standard.

For the good of the environment, all i30 engines include parts designed for higher recyclability, such as an ashable oil filter and plastic cylinder head covers.

LOwER EMIssIONs. hIGhER EMOTIONs.Greater efficiency has never been so rewarding. From the start, the i30 Family was designed to raise the bar of fuel economy and efficiency. When combined with Blue Drive™ technology, our 1.6 litre diesel engines reduce CO2 emissions to only 97 g/km for 5- and 3door models, while delivering outstanding power and acceleration.

Gasoline engine

The i30 gasoline range starts with an efficient Gamma 1.4 litre that provides 100 PS.Our mid–range choice is a smooth Gamma 1.6 litre MPI (Multi–Point Injection), capable of 120 PS. Leading the pack is our Gamma 1.6 litre GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection), delivering a strong 135 PS. Each engine features an all–aluminium ladder frame con-struction for improved durability and reduced noise.

Front, side, and curtain airbags as standard.

Two front airbags, two side airbags, and four curtain airbags work in a fully

integrated system to greatly reduce the risk of serious injury. A passenger airbag

cut-off switch is also standard, so babies are safe when on board.

For greater safety from the start, LED daytime running lights and rear lights that automati-cally flash during hard braking are standard. Rear fog lamps. Unlike other cars in its class, the i30 offers rear fog lamps on the left and

right side of the vehicle. Next to each bulb there is a reflector to make you more visible to

drivers approaching from behind. (3door with different design)

Rear combination lamps. Designed to wrap around the curved i30 body, our rear lamps

automatically flash when you brake hard, so vehicles behind you get an extra warning.

Bright LED lights that activate a split second faster than conventional lights are available

as an option. (5/3door only)

LEd daytime running lights. LED running lights improve road visibility, while adding an

elegant style feature to the i30. Safety is also enhanced by giving other vehicles an

additional light source for reference. (3door with different design)

xenon headlamps. The optional High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps cast a

significantly brighter and longer light beam without causing glare that can distract the

drivers of oncoming cars. The colour temperature is set to approximate that of daylight,

so reds and greens are more visible.

A cAMERA FOR ExTRA PEAcE OF MINd.Obstacles behind you are often the most difficult to see. To improve your vision, the i30 offers the option of a rear view camera. As soon as you select reverse gear, a wide angle colour picture appears on the navigation screen, or in the rear view mirror if navigation isn’t fitted. If there is an object behind you, at any time, a warning signal will sound. The picture even includes a graphic overlay to make parking easier.

Tweeters. For enhanced sound quality, the audio

system can also include two tweeters, discreetly

integrated in the front door panels.

warranty period.

5–YEAR vEhIcLE hEALTh chEck

In addition to your annual main service maintenance, your Hyundai dealer will perform a check on

key elements of your i30, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, and brake systems,

during your 5–year warranty period. If you prefer, you can replace the 5–Year Vehicle Health Check

with any other service programme.

* Vehicles used for taxi or rental car purposes are covered by a 3–year, 100,000 km warranty.
