No-Shave NovemberThings are getting a little hairy at Bestpass! Two years ago, we started a No-Shave November team to raise funds and awareness for cancer. Each year,our team grows and grows - along with the hair!

The goal: to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancerpatients lose, and letting it grow wild and free.

The rules: Drop the razor for 30 days and donate the money that you typicallyspend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save livesand aid those fighting the battle.

Get involved: Join the Bestpass Toll Shavers and grow a beard or cultivate amustache for a great cause! The money that the team raises goes tothe American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Hospital, Prevent CancerFoundation, and Fight Colorectal Cancer - No-Shave November will donate themoney equally to the four participating charities.

The Month of NovemberTurkey DayThanksgiving automatically triggers thoughts of quality time with the family,thoughts of turkey and stuffing and of course, the start of holiday shopping.Here's some fun facts about America's second favorite holiday:

1. Turkeys are blind and sleep in trees.Turkeys spend most of their time on theground, but at night, they sleep in trees - this is mostly due to the fact that theyare almost blind at night and sleeping in the trees keeps them away from bigpredators roaming around. Turkeys can fly, and they're actually really good atflying - they can fly at speeds of 55 miles per hour, but only for a short time.

2. Macy's Day Parade - All of the balloons and floats are built year-round in this

studio in New Jersey. From 1st sketch to final product, one float can take up to 9months to complete. From 1929 until 1931, the balloons were let go at the end ofthe Parade. If you found the balloon, you could return it to Macy's for a Prize.

2. There's always room forpie. According to the polls, 20% ofAmericans are eating apple pie, 19%are fond of the strawberry pie and 16%prefer pumpkin pie.May we suggestsome next-level recipes?

3. Sweet potatoes and yams aredifferent! They're two totally differentvegetables, even though thesupermarket might use theminterchangeably. Check out thesedelicious sweet potato recipes!

4. Tired after eating turkey? Contrary to popular belief, eating turkey isn't themain reason you feel like this after a Thanksgiving feast. People used to thinkthat since turkey contains the amino acid tryptophan, it makes you tired. Butconsuming large amounts of carbohydrates is more likely the culprit.

BP NewsToll Rate UpdateAs the New Year quickly approaches, toll rate changes for 2017 are on thehorizon. Check out what we have so far and stay tuned; we will continue toupdate you on toll rate changes as they trickle in!

PA Turnpike Commission: "The PTC approved a 6% toll increase for both E-ZPass and cash customers; the increase is set to take effect at 12:01 a.m. onJan. 8, 2017." Check it out.

Illinois IPASS / Illinois State Toll Highway Authority: 10% scheduled increase from2014 rates.Check it out.

Virginia Midtown and Downtown Tunnels: Tolls increasing - Heavy vehicles Mon.-Fri., 5:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and Mon.-Fri., 2:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., peak rate with E-ZPass: $7.79 (2016 rate: $6.00). Check out other rates.

Good news! NY & NJ Port Authority tolls and New York Thruway tolls remain thesame for 2017.

Translation Services Now Available!Bestpass is now able to offer customers over-the-phone translation services formore than 200 languages!

"We pride ourselves on top-notch customer service, and since so many of our

customers speak Spanish, French and other languages, we decided that weneeded to retain an interpretation service," said Wally Perea, the Director ofCustomer Service at Bestpass. "We answer more than 40,000 incomingrequests each year, and we want each one of those requests to end with anamazingly happy customer."

How it works: Bestpass customers simply call the Customer Service team at(888) 410-9696 and specify the language that they prefer to speak, at whichpoint you will be promptly connected with an interpreter to facilitate the call. Big Discount on Toll for Texas State Highway 130If you have Bestpass coverage in Texas and run StateHighway 130 toll instead of Interstate 35, you could berewarded with a big toll discount! In an effort to increasehighway safety as well as reduce traffic congestion on I-35,the Texas Department of Transportation is offering up to a75% toll discount for 18-wheelers through August 2017.
