LV Electrical Distribution: Schedule and Quantities Aims: Modernisation of Booster electrical infrastucture To install necessary infrastructure for transparent change-over of cabling Minimise impact on other work planned for the Booster (esp. cable removal campaign) Remove power cabling from false floor for easier installation + operation Phasing: Phase 1 – New containment installation + Switchboards - YETS 2015 Phase 2 – Cable & Busbar installation - >YETS 2015 (During run) Phase 3 – Change over - EYETS 2016? TBA with users Phase 4 – Cable removal – following change over, EYETS? Quantities for removal: 33 Cables to be removed (identified so far, however final number will be >> as no cablotheque exists for the majority) >1.6KM total cable length to be removed (identified so far) Quantities for installation: BRF2 new rack zone – Additional ~100m containment to install, notional duration 2 weeks Refurbishment BCER zone – Additional ~400m containment to install, notional duration 3 weeks
