TCP Gun / Safety Spacer System

Description

The DynaEnergetics TCP Gun Spacer System allows the user to perforate multiple intervals simultaneously without the use of prohibitively expensive spacer guns. The system provides a quick and simple method for supporting standard bi-directional boosters and detonating cord in standard EU tubing joints and collars. This system is especially beneficial where the zones to be perforated are separated by long distances. The system can also be used as a safety spacer as per RP67 to place perforating guns below well-head equipment or occupied areas of a rig before the firing head is installed. Features

• No crossover subs are required between tubing joints. Detonating cord is run through the joint and the booster retainers are simply pushed by hand into the ends of the tubing before they are made-up.

• The booster retainers are spring loaded to ensure reliable booster function.

• The system is easily installed in the field using special booster kit installation tool.

• Adapter subs are installed at the top and bottom of the tubing string to allow connection of perforating guns with the industry standard 2-3/4” G.O. top sub thread.

• Can be used in vertical and horizontal applications. Recommendations

• Install as per instruction manual using new tubing to ensure good seal. • Give 2% excess of length of detonating cord into the assembly to compensate for

The innovative DynaSlot™ system is designed specifically for plug and abandonment cement squeeze operations. Well abandonment (P&A) involves complicated procedures where the wellbore must be shut in and permanently sealed. It is essential that the layers of sedimentary rock, in particular freshwater aquifers, are pressure isolated. Unwanted vertical channels or voids in a previously cemented wellbore annulus may exist. These channels can produce migration pathways for fluids or gas, resulting in:

• Channels in the cemented annulus • Migration of fluids or gas • Leakage risks • Cross flow and Cross-contamination • Environmental issues

This hollow carrier perforating gun system employs a unique scallop design which provides sufficient surface area for the perforation slot without sacrificing burr height protrusion, system performance or mechanical integrity. As an alternative application, the DynaSlot™ may be used to achieve bigger cross sectional flow areas than comparative charges.

Top Fire Sub, Type II

Description

The DynaEnergetics Top Fire Sub Provides users with a safe, convenient, and reliable means of detonating a perforating or stimulation tool from the top of the assembly. This tool is useful any time it is undesirable or impossible to run shooting wire through the entire perforating assembly. Features

• The internal chamber is covered by a sliding sleeve. This provides the largest opening possible.

• The sleeve seal has a unique directional function. This allows gas pressure to vent as the perforating assembly is detonated, extending the life of the assembly.

Tandem Isolation Sub

Description

The DynaEnergetics Tandem Isolation Sub allows the operator to safely and efficiently make up and arm strings of guns that are to be selectively fired.

The operator can pre-assemble individual guns with select fire switches pre-wired and ready to make up. No wiring between guns is required. When the gun string is made up, a sprung loaded contact automatically establishes a connection with the communication line that runs through the entire gun string.

Once the string is assembled, the large ports in the Tandem Isolation Subs are opened and the detonators can be installed electrically before ballistically.

The Tandem Isolation Sub was designed to accommodate DynaEnergetics RF safe detonators and select fire system.
