CHOIR AND BRASS Sunday May 5th. 4pm A varied programme from the Da Capo Brass ensemble led by Richard Harris, with joint contributions from St. Etheldreda’s Choir, including Gabrieli and Rutter. Tea and cakes to follow.

Y.E.S! (Young Eth’s Singers) Sunday June 9th. 4pm A wonderful selection of music from our highly- regarded junior choir. Tea and cakes to follow.

HATFIELD CHAMBER ORCHESTRA Sunday June 30th. 7.30pm A much anticipated return from this highly professional ensemble, with a stunning programme.

COMMUTER CONCERT Monday July 1st. 7pm A showcase concert by senior groups from the Mid Herts Centre for Music and Arts, with performances from the Wind Ensemble, String Quartet, Chamber Choir, Youth Choir and String Orchestra.

MINI CHOIR CONCERT Sunday July 7th. 4pm A short concert and talk from members of St. Etheldreda’s choir, featuring sacred vocal music by Thomas Tallis and his pupil and protégé, William Byrd. Tea and cakes to follow.

THE EDEN CONSORT Sunday July 21st. From 3pm An afternoon of vocal music spanning five centuries. Come and explore our beautiful church in between three 20-minute recitals including music by Tallis, popular Spirituals and other Folksongs. Tea and cakes to follow.

CHRIS GOWARD Clarinet MARY ANSTEY Piano Sunday August 4th. 3pm Music for clarinet and piano to include works bySaint Saëns, Mendelssohn, Finzi and Joplin.

THELMA AND FRIENDS IN CONCERT Saturday September 7th. 7pm A welcome return of Thelma for her 18th concert, accompanied by a host of family and friends.

HATFIELD HOUSE CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL September 26th - 29th. A magnificent festival of chamber music hosted by Lord and Lady Salisbury and directed by Guy Johnston. Alongside concerts by some of the finest professional musicians, St Etheldreda’s will be hosting 3 Schools Concerts on Thursday 26th, and a wonderful Family Concert on Saturday 28th.
