However, we are presently undergoing changes due to a variety of reasons - some member’s commitments have changed and new posts have taken some of our talented members on to new challenges. However, we are presently undergoing changes due to a variety of reasons - some member’s commitments have changed and new posts have taken some of our talented members on to new challenges. WW 1 CentenaryWith the Great War commemorative period

just starting this year’s LocScot event is designed to inform and inspire all of us who work in Local Studies departments throughout Scotland. A host of local community groups, history societies, school projects and genealogists are relying on our resources to help them create unique commemorative projects throughout Scotland.

This day event is a chance to share our collective knowledge, network with those in other regions and learn from professionals about relevant FWW records, archives and online resources.
