that student must bring an official note (court document, obituary, or doctor’s note) the next morning explaining why he or she was absent on the previous day.

• The official note must be turned into the attendance office the day following the absence before going to second period.

allowed to participate in any school related activities including but not limited to athletics, field

• Students will receive a copy of his or her attendance, which identifies absences as excused or unexcused.

• The teacher will sign if the absence was in fact excused and return the attendance sheet to the attendance office.

• Otherwise, students will take the copy home for parents to provide documentation for the absence. (personal illness, death or serious illness of an immediate family member, court appearance, or a religious holiday or event)

• Students must be seated in 2nd period by 8:10am.

• NO STUDENT will be allowed to enter 2nd period after 8:10am without an admit from the office. Students can only receive an admit if accompanied by a parent. Those who do not receive an admit will be sent to the tardy room (cafeteria).

MUSTMUST be accompanied by an adult.

Students who are late for 3rd-7th periods will be assigned after

school detention. If a students does not attend after school

detention, an overnight suspension will be issued.

Before the suspension is cleared, detention MUSTMUST be served.

• Enter the building through the front doors only (Lauderdale entrance only)

• Not stand in front of the building after 7:30.

• Only go to the cafeteria or atrium area before the 8am bell rings. Students are not allowed to walk through the building for any reason and NO FOOD is permitted in the atrium area.

• White long or short sleeve shirt with a collar.

• T-shirts must be worn as undergarments AND must be WHITE. All accessories must be uniform colors (belts, socks, jewelry, hair accessories etc…)

• Pants must fit at the waist, not being over or over or under sized under sized ((No sagging, no tights as pants or spandex is allowed.).

• Skirts, shorts, and jumpers must stop at or below the knee.

• NO DENIM may be worn as part of the uniform.

• All male students are required to wear belts with their shirts tucked inside the pants.

• Ladies who wear belts must wear them through the belt loops and they must be uniform colors.
