Building clientele by going to where the masses are located. In Joe Praveen Sequeira’s Unleash the Power of Social Media Marketing: Explosive Proven Strategies to Boost Your Social Media Campaign, he explains how advertisement has evolved. In the past, traditional marketing was taken advantage of by big businesses that had the money to purchase expensive ads. Now time has changed to a more social online setting. What surprised me was that social sites such as Facebook and Twitter aren’t the totality of what is needed to be successful in marketing. He states that we should maximize search engines as well. Social sites are most useful because it allows you to reach people that are already using sites and they were created to connect people which in turns builds a clientele. The book was great and it teaches how to grow a business with useful tactics and strategies and is a useful book for PR and marketing.
