Book On A Tree is a storytelling hub filled with storytelling talent. Book On A Tree was founded by Pierdomenico Baccalario, a best-selling author of children, young adult and family based storytelling. During his 20 years career Pierdomenico has written over 60 books, has been published worldwide and in multiple languages, and has a successful long-standing series called Ulysses Moore. Pierdomenico founded Book On A Tree in order to best utilise his and other authors’ experience and expertise to help the next generation of storytellers navigate through the complex worlds of traditional and digital publishing, IP development and IP commercialisation.

Living With A Dragon is a collaborative co-creation with London based visual storytelling studio Nucco Brain. Book On A Tree has developed its brand new book IP further with a focus on co-producing a comical adventure series of 52 x 7 minute episode, with strong intelligence storytelling for the upper preschool 4 to 7 age group. The IP has been created as a global franchise. Book On A Tree secured the leading writing talent of British Children’s TV Writer Lee Walters. Lee has written for children’s series such as Wolfblood (CBBC / ZDF / ZDFE), Floogals (Zodiak Media Kids / NBC Universal / PBS Sprout), Pet Squad (CBBC), Casper’s Scare School (Cartoon Network / Moonscoop / Classic Media) and Bunny Maloney (Moonscoop / France Animation). Lee is also the Head Writer on the brand new live-action 13 x 22 minute drama series North Star (Disney Channel / Zodiak Kids Studio / The Foundation), of which filming commences in Spring 2016 and launches on the Disney Channel in multiple territories across EMEA later in 2016.

Book On A Tree has developed its book IP further with a focus on co-producing a comical adventure series of 52 x 11 minute episodes for the 6 to 9 age group. The talented team developed the entire visual world, wrote all the storylines and scripts, and co-directed the initial pilot episode. The IP has been created as a global franchise.
