Bond-Loks unique side lap inter-lockingsystem provides for fast and simpleconstruction.

Bond-Loks spanning capabilities allowfor a reduction in the number oftemporary supports required.

Bond-Lok eliminates the need for form-work and reinforcement.

Bond-Lok will accept most floor servicesystems.

Bond-Loks soffit forms the finishedceiling without the need for plastering.

Global Roofing Solutions has beenassessed and certified as complying withISO 9001:2000 Quality ManagementSystem.

Global Roofing Solutions also offer acomplete design service if required.

Bond-Lok has been fire-tested by theCSIR and has qualified for a fire ratingof 120 minutes - results and furtherinformation are available on request.

    1. Bond-Lok f loor slabs are basica lly one-way slabs designed to carry uniformly distributed loads. The tables do not cater for heavy concentrated loads o r moving loads. Where these occur the design should be referred to a civil/structural engineer.

    2. Calcu lations are generally in accordance with 855950 : Part 4 : 1984 (limit states design). Def lection during construction calcu lated at span/180.

    3. For normal applications of Bond-Lok steel f loors, no additional reinforcing other t han a light mesh for shrinkage control is required, typically 193 mesh.

    MATERIAL: Galvanised Steel to Z275

    4. For "Fire Applications" of Bond-Lok floors, welded steel mesh reinforcement of 8 mm d iameter steel bars at 200 mm spacing in each direction is required, with minimum top cover along supports (typically on top of shear studs). This gives a f ire rating of 90 minutes for a slab of 140 mm or greater with a nominal superimposed load of 2,5 kN/m2 maximum, for spans upto3,0m. Forfurther informat ion on f ire applications contact Brownbuilt. Material- minimum guaranteed yield stress = 200 Mpa.

N.B. All tabulated values serve as a guide only for sing le span condit ions, and shou ld be certified and approved by a civil/structura l eng ineer.

ACCESSORIES The following accessories are available for use with Bond-Lok: Steel side and end closers, self-tapping screws, pop rivets, hammer drive screws and flashings made to order.
