Dear Parents and Caregivers, Mobile phones and electronic devices are banned from all NSW Public School’s during school hours. For more information please use this link on the mobile phone ban https://education.nsw.gov.au/news/media-releases/nsw-takes-action-on-mobile-devices-in-schools. It is school policy that students hand their mobile phones and devices into the front office every morning as they arrive at school. Students will now sign their device into school and also sign it out at 3:00pm, the register will be left on the bench in the office. Their phones will be placed into their schoolbag until after they have left the school premises. If your child fails to hand their mobile phone or device into the front office daily, they will have it confiscated by a member of staff, parents will be contacted and they will have to collect the device from the office. The staff hope that we will not have to enforce this. Students have been informed on policy and what they have to do if they bring a device to school, they also understand what the consequences will be if they don’t follow the policy. If you have any queries please contact the school. Regards, Patricia Sharp Relieving Principal
