COOLORS Collection

The power of color is a cool phenomenonwhich inspired the creationof the COOLORS collection. Colors playan important role in our physicalenvironment. They are used for theiraesthetics as well as their abilityto influence the human psyche throughthe stimulation of ones visual sense.Colors induce many emotions and statesof mind most of which are subjective,however some are more universal such

as the ability of warm colors to createa feeling of comfort and the calmingeffects of cool colors.

By associating color sensations with ourcollection, we intend to stimulateemotions that allow all who come incontact with our designs the chance toidentify with them and bring some colorin to their world.

HAND CRAFTING AND FINISHING

All of our furnishings are hand craftedand finished using the greatest skill,depth and detail. Materials are selectedbased on the design, function andfinish of the piece. Our craftsmen buildand hand assemble each item, onlyusing machines and power tools whennecessary to achieve the highest level

of quality and finish.

HAND CARVING

Many of our furnishings featuredetails hand carved from wood whichis then assembled with the furnitureframe using the delicate task ofjoinery.

FINISHING

The finishing process is one whichcontains many steps and must be donewith great precision. As the finishingtouch on each piece of furniture weuse one or a combination of thefollowing finish types: high gloss varnish, metallic leafs, translucentcolors (a unique BL process), high glosslacquer and a number of different wood veneer types and techniques.

BL designs and produces high quality interior furnishings to please even themost demanding admirers. Our Public shares our Passion: a design that reflectsan urban and simultaneously classical lifestyle. We use the highest qualitymaterials and textures, giving them shapes through objects which create luxuriouscosmopolitan environments. Our products are internationally distributed in thefinest interior design boutiques. They are handmade in Portugal, using traditionalmethods, by exceptionally talented artisans.

HARDWARE

Once the finish process is complete,our hardware is placed on pieces whichrequire such. Our hardware is speciallydesigned to suit the look of eachindividual piece of furniture. Themajority of our hardware is made ofbrass which is hand casted by localjewellers and then plated or painted to

create the desired color.
