Dive Rescue International’s three-day diver preparedness class for public safety personnel. Students learn how to safely operate department watercraft for diving, water rescue and search operations
3 Days / 24 training hours
Boat Based Operations
Pen and paper. Diving students must provide their own equipment: Exposure suit; scuba regulator: recently serviced and environmentally protected with alternate air source (i.e.: octopus, Air III, etc.); timing device; depth and submersible pressure gauges; BC with oral/power inflator; two tanks with current Hydro & VIP; mask; fins; weight system and two cutting tools (knife, wire cutters, or trauma shears).
This program is customized to ensure that students receive training specific to their particular vessels and accessories.
$385.00 (US Funds) per student
All public safety personnel tasked with operating and maintaining a department fire/rescue vessel. Current DRI graduates wishing to increase their skills and knowledge.
