How much time does it take?

On average, board members report spending 20 hours per week on VIS, to which you can add weekly board meeting (2-3 hours), going on trips (1-9 days at a time), and various other duties (e.g. office hours). Note that you can modulate your workload depending on your availability by signing up to more or less working groups and events.

Will we get a compensation?Not financially; however, you don’t need to pay for the trips that you’re leading, you’ll get invited to free bonding activities and training events, and you get a few other small benefits (hoodies etc.)
