Building Reports
High School I would like to recognize the work of the HS Staff for their work to bring virtual learning to
their students and for the many innovative lessons and projects that I have seen. I would also like to recognize their efforts to make contact with students and parents who were falling behind. We have all learned a great deal.
I would also like to recognize the Elmwood staff and community members who have reached out in many ways to assist others in our Community.
Thank you to our HS Staff Members and to Nan Wright for helping to deliver our Elmwood Graduate 2020 Yard Signs to our soon to be graduates!
Seniors received their final week of new assignments on May 8. Prom should be cancelled as we are unable to hold a large gathering at this time or at any time
in the foreseeable future. Graduation planning is wrapping up and information will be sent to the Senior and their
parents very soon with the details. Mrs. Bryant will be notifying seniors of their receiving of scholarships. These individuals will
be recognized via the school website and social media sites. Individual classroom award recognitions and awards will be handed out to students when they
“check- out” in the HS office. May 13 for Seniors and Underclassmen May 18-21, from 9am-3pm.
Middle School Our staff continues to deliver electronic learning. I would like to thank all staff, parents, and
students for handling this odd time in education sincerely, professionally and cooperatively. The M.S. is planning on handing out awards, that were usually handed out in an end of the
year assembly, as students come in to get their contents in their lockers and turn their school items in from May 18-21.
Planning for next year is underway. Elementary
The last day for students to complete assignments is May 15th with grades being submitted by May 20th.
Students are able to return materials and collect any belongings May 18-21. Teachers and aides will be present to assist during that time with a work day scheduled for May 22.
