CANADA'S SECOND LARGEST SKI AREA

Deep steeps, long cruisers, glade zones, powder stashes, and corduroy groomers can all be

found within 4,270 acres of skiable terrain. Three mountains surround a European-style, ski-

through village filled with quaint shops, cafés, and eateries. Sun Peaks has an abundance of

activities and events for both on and off the slopes, leaving you wishing only for more time

at Canada's second largest ski area. We were thrilled to be named in National Geographic's

Best Winter Trips of 2019 article, a testament to our terrain and conditions, and overall village

vibe and amenities.

MOUNTAIN STATS

• 3 mountains with 4,270 acres of skiable terrain

• 13 lifts and 138 trails with 19 gladded areas

• Over 37km groomed & track set Nordic trail

• Over 2,000 hours of sunshine annually

SKI-THROUGH VILLAGE

• Our ski-through, European-style, village is filled with restaurants, cafés, shops and more!

Wander or ski through the pedestrian-only walkway and take it all in.

• From sushi to schnitzel, bison burgers to grilled salmon, and homemade fudge to fresh

baked goods—your taste buds will be pleasantly surprised at every turn with plenty of

charming cafés and après adventure destinations.

• Browse boutique shops where you’ll find clothing, apparel, locally crafted jewelry,

souvenirs and mementos, local artwork and even something for the kids. Pamper

yourself at the spa and peruse a huge selection of regional beer and wine.

• The possibilities are endless!

Sun Peaks’ 4,270 acres is spread across three skiable

peaks, each with a personality all their own. Each

mountain is easily accessible from the village, so ski all

three in the same day or stick to the area that you love

the most. Sun Peaks receives 6 meters- 236.22 inches of

snow annually, and the mountains become covered with

light, dry powder that is famous to the interior of BC.

O PRIVATE SMALL GROUP SNOWSHOE TOURS

O Enjoy the fresh mountain air and discover the wonders of nature in our snowshoe winter

wonderland on a small group private tour. Our private tours are exclusively for your small

group and explore beautiful snowshoe terrain along our private tour route. Each tour is led

by one of our friendly, experienced local snowshoe guides who love to share their

enthusiasm for snowshoeing at Sun Peaks. The tour includes a stop along the trail to enjoy a

warming drink of hot apple cider along with a trail treat. The use of snowshoe equipment is

included with every tour. Guide gratuity is not included.

O ALPINE FONDUE & STARLIGHT DESCENT- Non-Skier can enjoy a snow limo

• After the slopes have cleared and the mountains have fallen silent for the day, you’ll board the

Sunburst Express chairlift for an exclusive twilight ride to Sunburst Bar + Eatery, mid-mountain

restaurant. You’ll enjoy stunning views of sunset while darkness falls across the resort.

• A warm welcome awaits at the top, where you’ll be transported to 'The Alps' as you enjoy a hearty

three course fondue meal. Borrowing from the European inspiration of our village, this Swiss-style

fondue centers on the three loves of European cuisine: rich cheese, mouthwatering cuts of meat,

and, of course, decadent chocolate.

• After dinner, one last treat beckons. Walking out into the alpine evening will reveal a freshly

groomed 5 Mile run glittering in the moonlight. With the help of a head torch and a guide, you’ll

click into your bindings and descend back to the warm glow of the village lights, while a myriad of

stars blaze overhead in the crisp mountain air.
