Subjects in the Licensure Examination for Criminologists
Board of CriminologyWHEREAS, the first members of the Board of Criminology were appointed only on July
27,1987
WHEREAS, the Board promulgated Resolution No. 2, dated September 28, 1987,approved by the Commission that the first examination for Criminologists will be held in April,1988
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 6(g), the Board is mandated to determine and preparethe contents of licensure examination; and Section 14 of Republic Act No. 6506 authorizes theBoard to change or revise any of the subject in the event the Department of Education shallcorrespondingly change the curriculum prescribed for the degree of Bachelor of Science inCriminology;
WHEREAS, the scope of the examination shall cover the following subjects with theirrespective relative weights;

Criminal Sociology .......................................... 15%Ethics and Human Relations ............................ 10%
WHEREAS, considering the advance Technology in the practice of Criminology, theBoard believes that it is imperative to revise/amend the subjects in the licensure examination forCriminologists
NOW THEREFORE, in view of the foregoing considerations, the Board RESOLVED, as ithereby RESOLVES to amend/revise the subjects in the licensure examination for Criminologistsand relative weights, as follows:

RESOLVED FURTHER, that after approval hereof by the Commission, the revisedsubjects shall become effective after fifteen (15) days following the publication of this Resolutionin the Official Gazette.Done in the City of Manila this 5th day of October, 1987.
