Board Resolution No. 3 Series of 1987 Subjects in the Licensure Examination for Criminologists Board of Criminology WHEREAS, the first members of the Board of Criminology were appointed only on July 27,1987 WHEREAS, the Board promulgated Resolution No. 2, dated September 28, 1987, approved by the Commission that the first examination for Criminologists will be held in April, 1988 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 6(g), the Board is mandated to determine and prepare the contents of licensure examination; and Section 14 of Republic Act No. 6506 authorizes the Board to change or revise any of the subject in the event the Department of Education shall correspondingly change the curriculum prescribed for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Criminology; WHEREAS, the scope of the examination shall cover the following subjects with their respective relative weights; Subjects Relative Weights Criminal Jurisprudence and Procedure ........... 20% Law Enforcement Administration ..................... 20% Correctional Administration ............................. 15% Criminalistics ................................................... 20% Criminal Sociology .......................................... 15% Ethics and Human Relations ............................ 10% WHEREAS, considering the advance Technology in the practice of Criminology, the Board believes that it is imperative to revise/amend the subjects in the licensure examination for Criminologists NOW THEREFORE, in view of the foregoing considerations, the Board RESOLVED, as it hereby RESOLVES to amend/revise the subjects in the licensure examination for Criminologists and relative weights, as follows: Subjects Relative Weights Criminal Jurisprudence and Procedure Criminal Law (Book I); Criminal Law (Book II) Criminal Procedure; Criminal Evidence .............20% Law Enforcement Administration  Administration of Police Or ganization; Patrol Organization and Operation; Police Operational Planning; Intelligence and Secret Service; Industrial Security
