The next event is on 10th June at Exeter Golf and Country Club.

Seminar before THE networking lunch - The Internet of Things.

The Internet of Things is a growing network of everyday objects – from industrial machines to consumer goods – that can share information and complete tasks while you are busy with other activities, like work, sleep or exercise. Soon, our cars, our homes, our major appliances and even our city streets will be connected to the Internet – creating this network of objects that is called the Internet of Things, or IoT for short. The Internet of Things consists of three main components:

• The things themselves; • The communication networks connecting them; • The computing systems that make use of the data flowing to and from our things.

Using this infrastructure, objects can communicate with each other and even optimise activities between them based on the analysis of data streaming through the network.

Ian and Jim from Cobalt will share their expertise and insight into what is current and what is coming that can enhance your business, the customer experience, sales, profitability and resources.

Seminar before THE networking lunch hosted by Richard Hussey from RSH Copywriting

How Google is changing and what you need to do about it!

The rules behind Google’s search rankings are changing significantly and we are just starting to see some of the effects. Within a few years, these changes will make our current obsession with ranking on page 1 for specific keywords completely redundant.Additionally, one of the world’s most respected SEO consultants recently proclaimed that: ‘Building relationships is now more important than search engine optimisation for a business that wants to be visible on line.’

We’ll take a look at what is driving Google from a business perspective, the technology it is using, and – most important – what businesses need to be doing about it.

https://rshcopywring.co.uk @RichardHussey1

Coffee and networking from 10am and seminar starts at 10.30am (optional, always rewarding, included in the price and a great networking opportunity!)

Then it’s THE networking lunch….

We place children for adoption from throughout the UK, who have experienced loss and upheaval. We find for them stable, loving families in Devon, Dorset, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

We are special because we have a ‘forever’ policy of support and this means that we offer support to the child and new family for as long as they need us. www.familiesforchildren.org.uk
