Dear Friends:

On behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Lieutenant Governor and I welcome you to the India Association of Greater Boston “India Republic Day” celebration.

Since its founding in 1962, the India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) has been the single largest unifying force for 100 thousand plus in the Indian American Community. IAGB has helped maintain a strong sense of heritage and community for Indian-Americans of all ages and backgrounds by helping them come together and celebrate traditions. As the oldest non-profit Indian-American organization in New England, the IAGB has relentlessly served needs of Indian-American communities all across New England.

This celebration reflects how a strong sense of heritage and community collaboration can result in a large and successful gathering. IAGB leadership in social responsibility will serve well to create increased identification and a bigger platform to impact all things New England.

We wish to thank all volunteers, sponsors and supporters of IAGB for their enthusiasm and engagement. Please accept our best wishes for an enjoyable celebration and a Happy Republic Day.

Sincerely,

5 Fusion by Debarati and GroupBengali poetry and literature have been occupying a special height since ages

and have enriched people around the World with its glorious creations. Famous poets had been maintaining the aura of excellence. These maverick personalities with immense

talent and knowledge on the subject had gifted us several creations which is being cherished Worldwide today...we would pay homage to these stalwarts and would

remember their creations once again by the BENGALI FUSION GROUP.

These songs are a blend of Indian way of thoughts and it is a constant source of inspiration.

Durga puja is the celebration of the victory of good over evil, is followed by song of Rabindranath Tagore and Patriotic songs where description

of freedom fighter’s devotion to the Country is there in lyrics.

The Hindu legends embedded the Indian thought about the nature of existence, the human condition and its aspirations through an interwoven contrast of characters, the good against the evil, the honest against the dishonest, the dharma-bound lover against the anti-dharma bully, the gentle and compassionate against the cruel and greedy. Since ages people have been inspired by few songs and the lyrics which

have inspired them to fight against the evil forces.

In the mythological context or the reality of the life, the fight against the evil, has been the described.
