This year's pig roast was a huge success! There was face painting for the kids along with games and a candy flashlight hunt, raffle, a bags tournament, a bonfire, a deli-cious pig, and dancing into the evening. Thank you Tabatha Gwizdala for organizing another successful pig roast. Thank you for everyone who helped organize and set up the event and those who also helped clean up the following day.

We also hosted our first annual carp fest in the hopes of keeping the carp population low. Thank you Jim Lang for organizing this event.

Prior to the annual pig roast we had a park cleanup. We would like to thank all the community members who came out to help keep our park looking great. A special thanks to Boy Scout troop 93 from St. Peter's and Pack 964 from May Whitney for vol-unteering their time to help clean up the park.

This year we hired a lake management company to help take care of the lake during the swimming season. They did a great job keeping the lake looking clean and main-taining the health of the lake. We also had the water tested several times during the season to make sure it was safe for swimming. All the tests came back in the safe range except for one, which was taken a day after a rain. We closed the beach and posted no swimming signs. A follow up test was taken shortly after and came back in the safe range so the beach was reopened. The test showed the importance of following the ccounty health department's recommendation of no swimming in any lake for 24 hours after a rain.
