The A section of this tune is heavily syncopated. Shorten each tie by a smidge, stopping the bow between notes to create a brief space. In the B and C sections there are several passages that cross two strings at once. Keeping your right shoulder down and forearm parallel to the floor, quickly adjust your elbow to the new string level.

Wayfaring Strangerarranged Brian Wicklund
I am a poor wayfaring strangerTraveling through this world of woeThere’ll be no sadness, toil or dangerIn that bright land to which I go I’m going there to see my mother She said she’d meet me when I come I’m just going over Jordan I’m just going over homeI know dark clouds will gather ’round meI know my way is rough and steepYet beauteous fields lie just before meWhere God’s redeemed their vigils keep
