Abilene, TX – September 11, 2012 — Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative has chosen Milsoft
Electric Utility Solution’s Field Inspection software.
“Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative has added Distribution Inspection to its full suite of Milsoft solutions,”
said Bart Brockway, Milsoft Director of Sales. “They want to be able to swiftly and conveniently keep
their geographic information system data and circuit model up to date.”
“An accurate circuit model and database is the cornerstone of our engineering and operations,” said
Bluebonnet Operations Technology Superintendent Ronnie Bludau. “It is very important that all of our
field employees have the ability to quickly and automatically update our distribution system data based
upon actual field inspection.”
Milsoft’s Field Engineering Software and the associated Distribution Inspection, are two of the many
applications in the Milsoft Core E&O system. Core E&O integrates Milsoft’s industry-leading software
and data in the first ever comprehensive, seamlessly integrated, server-based engineering and
operations software system. It fully incorporates a detailed electric distribution circuit model data for
use in planning, analysis and operations. The system also includes advanced project management tools
to enable each employee to manage the projects and data that they require to do their job. The system
