At the 8:30 a. m. mass Sundayat Our Lady of the Snow R. C.church the Rev. Hugh J. After the service breakfastwas served to the children andtheir parents and friends in thechurch hall.
At 5 p. m. the ceremony of thecrowning of the Blessed Virgintook place. A procession of chil-dren entered the church, withKaren Swenson carrying thecrown. Gertrude Findeis crownedthe statue. The children recitedthe Rosary. The ceremonies con-cluded with the benediction.

Timmy Stilland Walter Gormsen played atrumpet duet, "My Bonnie LiesOver the Ocean," and Carl Gar-ire and Carl Hamann presenteda clarinet duet, "Russian Melody."The chorus sang an old Englishair. "Hi, Ho, Is Anybody Home?""Whispering Hope," "Tell MoWhy." "It's Me, Oh Lord." tho"Orchestra" song and, as afinale, "Panis Angelicus." Thestudy of instrumental music wasstarted last fall , and the bandhas been organized only five orsix weeks. It gave a remark-ably fine performance.
