APRIL 2017 ELECTION OF OFFICERS

FOR THE 2017-2018 YEAR

If you are serious about being an Officer of Post

789 please asked the bartender for the nomination board that is behind the bar and put

your name on it and be at the April 11th meeting for elections. Installation of Officers will

be on the 13th of May here at the Legion cocktails 5-6 and dinner at 6 PM with Installation

and awards to follow and the cut off for sign up is 6 May and the menu is Pot Roast or

Ham, mashed potatoes and veggie, salad, rolls and brownie with ice cream for dessert the

cost is $10.00 a person and you get 3 drink tickets and it is limited to 120 people so get

your tickets early and the awards will be handed out after the election of Officers. If you

are not going to come to the Installation dinner and you still want your continuous service

award let me know and I will leave it at the bar or mail it to you. Adjutant Bill Mastin

Welcome Spring to our Carthage Legion

Family,

Our April meeting is our nominations of officers. If you are in-

terested in an office please contact our nominating committee of Deb

Swem, Penny Ellis, Debbie Atkins and Christina Atkins.

We are planning a casino trip for May, I will post information

soon.

I hope everyone can make the installation dinner. Please make

sure you sign up at the Legion. I will be giving our awards and Leslie

will presenting the membership certificates. We will have our initiation

ceremony for anyone that has not been initiated into the Auxiliary.

Remember we have dinner/snacks at our meeting see you on

April 5th meeting at 6pm. We need our membership and your ideas so

mark your calendars.
