A Blog Merger! The Youth Ambassadors blog has merged with the Partners of the Americas blog (www.partners.net/blog). This transition will enable the Youth Blog to gain a wider audience and feature more impact stories, causes and projects, and guest bloggers.

Disney Friends for Change Grants offer young change-makers an opportunity to receive a grant to help make a lasting, positive change in the world. This program will award $1,000 grants to youth-led service projects that demonstrate youth leadership, creativity, and the commitment to making a positive impact on the environment.
The deadline is April 22, 2012. Make sure you have all your materials assembled before that time.

Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF)
State Alumni is launching the second annual Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) which is offering $1,000,000 this year to help teams of alumni tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues. In 2012, AEIF will award up to $25,000 per winning team.
There are three easy steps to start the application:
1. Identify the themes for your country or region. Proposals must be submitted on only one theme.
2. Submit your proposal between February 27, 2012 and March 30, 2012. 3. Form a team by March 30, 2012 of 10 or more alumni (or current participants) of U.S.
government-funded exchange programs. U.S. citizens are not eligible to submit proposals, but may join teams.
