The maximum bidder will get the first preferenceover the choice of Icon Players.

Franchise Teams limited to six teams.

Six best performers according to point slabprovided.

PLAYER BIDDING 

Icon players would be chosen according toinvestment made in the franchise bidding.

Other players would be bidden according to themerit list.

The merit list would be made assigning points toplayer performance in RCL 2011.

With every fixed sum of investment, auction pointscan be gained by the owners.

E.g. Rs. 100 = 30 points.

A player should make himself available for aminimum of three matches.

SQUAD RULES 

Minimum squad strength of 10 players.

No more than 3 players of the same batch shouldbe in the playing eleven.

10-15: 10 points

15-25: 5 points

Top 5 Run-Getters (Same as the Bowling List) / StrikeRate (Minimum Aggregate Score of 25)

100-125: 30 points 125-75: 20 points

75-50: 10 points

50-25: 5 points

MATCH SCHEDULE 

A group stage with two groups of three, playingeach other.

Top teams of each group getting direct qualificationto the semi-finals and last two getting a play-offagainst the other group.

So a team playing a total of five matches to reachthe finals.

So ten matches in the entire tournament spreadover one week with two games per day.

AWARDS AND BENEFITS 

The prize money shall be decided once thefranchise bidding is over.

To lessen the monetary risk involved, the committeecan resort distribution of prize money according tothe merit list.

The team owners shall try to maximize theirbenefits by seeking sponsorship or redeem theirinvestment through prize money.

The teams shall have their own internal prizemoney distribution mechanism according to thewhims of the owners.
