Purpose:

This document outlines how to register, access, navigate, and perform administrative functions within BlackBerry Universe (BBU).

Scope: This document is intended for Technical representatives and BlackBerry Universe site administrators.

Registration – Creating an Account:

Step 1:

Navigate to BlackBerry Universe (www.blackberryuniverse.com) and click Register Account. It will take you to the below screen:

Step 2:

Enter the information into each of the input fields, including the captcha field, and then click Submit.

Note: The Organization PIN is associated with an organization. If the PIN is not known, please contact your administrator in the organization or for an admin then check “How to Obtain Organization PIN CODE” section.

Step 3:

Once logged in, you can update your personal information at any time by clicking My Profile.

Step 4:

Once you have updated your personal information click Submit at the lower-right corner of the page.

Administration Role: Note: The following admin functions and menu options are only visible with an admin account. Regular users will not see this option.

Step 1:

To perform administrative functions click Admin. There are three items located under the admin drop-down menu:

Step 2:

Within Organization Management, you have the ability to edit (manage users) and search for an organization.

Step 3:

To add users within an organization, click on the Manage Users icon within the existing organization.

Step 4:

Click New.

Step 5:

Fill out each of the information fields and click Create at the lower-right corner of the page. Note: there are mandatory fields to be filled in or you will not be able to proceed.

Step 6:

Within Users Management, you have the ability to create, edit, delete and search for users.

How to Perform Reporting: Note: To be eligible to see the learning history for all the users within your organization, you must be a BlackBerry Universe Admin.

Within Learning History, the admin can set the date range to view the results

Data can be filtered and sorted in the Portal based on:

How to Obtain Organization PIN Code: Note: A user can create their BlackBerry Universe account by filling out the form at https://www.blackberryuniverse.com/#/register. This form does require the user to provide an Organization PIN Code. As an Admin, the PIN Code for you organization may be obtained by performing the following steps:

Step 1: Click Admin from the top menu.

Step 2: Select Organizations.

Step 3: Select your organization and the Organization PIN code is displayed in the PIN Field:
