G- FEST July 12-14 Rosemont, IL 60018

G-FEST is the largest regular gathering of Godzilla and Japanese

monster fans in the world. Held each summer, it typically attracts

more than 1000 attendees, but has seen a gradual increase in

attendance over the past few years.

G-FEST is a family-oriented convention which caters to a wide

variety of interests within the kaiju genre. G-FEST features

presentations and Q & A sessions by actors and crew from the

Japanese Godzilla films, fan presentations on topics of interest,

contests and gaming, new and classic kaiju movies, the western

world’s largest kaiju-oriented dealers room, and lots of kaiju fun

and camaraderie.

Black Heart will again sponsor the Make & Take event at G-Fest on Saturday July 13. Participants will paint Black Heart’s microMANIA™ Godzilla bust or our microMANIA™ Mothra bust. We will also debut our microMANIA™ Shin Godzilla bust at the show. Come visit

Registration is now open for Real Men Love Gillmen #2, the

Badger/Black Heart model-finishing class at JerseyFest 2019 in

Newark, NJ. The class will start at 10am on Friday September

6 and will run until 4pm. Jeff Camp and John Allred are

returning to headline the class which will use Badger

airbrushes, paint and compressors. The class will feature

Black Heart’s 1:1 scale Gillman wall-hanger sculpted by Mark

Van Tine. The wall-hanger is designed to be converted to a full

360° Series with add-on parts that will be sold separately Professors Camp and Allred

The class offers two options: Option A = $400 and includes the 1:1 scale Gillman wall-hanger, a Badger air-brush, Minitaire paint, Stynylrez Primer, and a Badger compressor Option B = $350 and includes everything in Option A except the compressor. We will provide compressors to those choosing this option. The class is limited to 16 participants. THE Black Heart’s first sci-fi hardware kit is now available. Italian digital artist Daniele Dank0 Angelozzi turned concept sketches by Steve Wang into this 3D single occupant transport ship. The Planetary Orbital Drone and its pilot are part of Black Heart’s microMANIA™ line of kits and stands about 6 inches tall, 8 inches with the hatch open. The POD’s extra-terrestrial pilot is about 4 inches tall. The kit retails for $120 plus $14 US shipping and handling.

microMANIA™ Angelique

Black Heart has other new additions to our microMANIA™ line of busts and figures. The microMANIA™ version of our 1:2 scale Angelique bust which was sculpted by Abner Marin. The bust stands 3 inches tall and the antennae are produced in white metal. microMANIA™ Angelique is now available and retails for $25 plus $8 U.S. shipping.

Earthbound Studios has the following message for Earthbound fans: “Time to take a break from Earthbound until I am done working on the Wendell and Wild project next year.
