The Black Canyon is the darkest ruggedest canyon formed by the Gunnison River . despite that many animals live here.
Peregrine Falcons can reach speeds of 200mph while in a dive towards prey.
Great Horned Owls can eat skunks. They have very good eyesight to scope out prey.
Mountain Lions sit on top of the food chain . They are usually a cinnamon color which helps them camouflage themselves .
Mule deer have big feet to help it stand on top of the snow. They have a very good sense of smell.
