On-demand services marketplace Bizzby

has raised $10 million , and claims to

have reached 40,000 users its f irst three

mont hs of operation th is year with a

smart phone app r esembling TaskRabbit-

style services, bu t aim ed specifically at

prof essional tr adespeople. The investor s

was undisclosed but sources say the

investor is a US-based Hedge Fund with

over $25B under management . Bizzby

offers on-demand access to t rades such

as cleaners, plumbers, electr icians,

handymen and others.

 All jobs are guaranteed by Bizzby and

f ulfilled in seconds via its ˙InstantPay˚

system which pays out to the supply

network the mom ent jobs are completed as opposed to week or monthly payouts.

The star tup is led by founder and CEO Rohan Sinclair Luvaglio and co-founders Michael

Camiller i-Ferr ante and Howard Lewis, and claims that service pr oviders are ˙carefully

curated and f ully vetted, ver ified by a patent pending process and interviewed in

person bef ore being able to provide a service.̊

The company is based in Shoreditch, the main area of the organic clusters of startups

in East London called Silicon Roundabout by local tech entrepreneurs, but later 

dubbed ̃ Tech City¯by the UK government.
