bizarre ramblings in a christmas letter

Since September 11, 2001, many questions have been asked regarding the situation in New York and how it will be affecting world affairs. I have done a bit of research during these last few weeks and thought you might like to share these ideas. When we are tempted to believe that we see men and nations at war, suspicious of each other, condemning and penalizing each other, we must recognize that such appearance is merely our inability to cognize what is actually taking place. War will cease, lack and disease disappear, when the individual exercises his potential for being pure Mind (God). Retaliation, resentment, revenge, fear, guilt are symptoms of the act of opinionating (talking thought), instead of being thought. The entire being is Mind as Mind. All is Mind and thus naturally does not take thought since Mind is thought. To really be the thinking that is Mind, one must burn all theological and opinion-related ideas behind him. The dualism of the ages will then begin to disappear. We find that the spiritual fact of what we see, hear and feel IS the spiritual fact and nothing else! The paradox that tells us, as a currently popular country western song does, that “Every hand’s a winner - every hand’s a loser,” is what is meant by the statement, “The Christianly scientific real IS the sensuous unreal.” We will continue to see the phenomenon named Osama bin Laden (as well as all his cronies) as terrorists, until we look through our God-lenses and recognize that we can never “see” bin Laden either as a terrorist or as a non-terrorist. When he has been turned into an icon of evil, he needs to be re-seen, translated back to his spiritual original. In this re-seeing, the Osama b i n Ladens of the world will cease existing as terrorists, eliminating war as well as the need to be “hunted and taken dead or alive”. They will be Self-contained (Self-evident) as their original, native God-nature. Here we again have the age-old example of two sides of the same coin - two viewpoints. viewpoints. Let us stop putting labels on what we think we see, thereby giving those so-called events a reality and an importance which they don’t have or deserve. All we can really ever see is God. In an early nineteenth century writing, it has been said that “....illness and health are both illusions; there is no physical world.” It is all mental. Might I remind you that “The power of an idea whose time has come is great.” Today our understanding, based on what is presented herein, is mightier than a two- edged sword and when consciously, individually, practiced and lived, will then make itself felt universally. Page 1: Bizarre Ramblings in a Christmas letter

The paradox that tells us, as a currently popular country western song does, that “Every hand’s a winner - every hand’s a loser,” is what is meant by the statement, “The Christianly scientific real IS the sensuous unreal.”

We will continue to see the phenomenon named Osama bin Laden (as well as all his cronies) as terrorists, until we look through our God-lenses and recognize that we can never “see” bin Laden either as a terrorist or as a non-terrorist.

Also, an early theologian has broached the idea that “Jesus understood that his followers’ Mind was God present, and this was seen as healing. Might I remind you that “The power of an idea whose time has come is great.” Today our understanding, based on what is presented herein, is mightier than a two-edged sword and when consciously, individually, practiced and lived, will then make itself felt universally.

The God-nature is within us, as us, and as we selfconsciously (actively) live this, our world takes on a new aspect. I am the world I walk through and in my God-waking I create the security and peace that is the security and peace of the world that is known as the world for all mankind.
