Objective : To identify passionate BITSians and nurture them as the next generation of BITSAA Leaders

• The Program is a chance for BITSians to showcase their leadership while giving back to the BITSAA community

BITSAA International – What do we do?

1. BITSAA International acts as an umbrella organization A Facilitator for BITSians, BITSAA Chapters and BITS Pilani Provides Online resources, Infrastructure for all BITSians, Chapters, Batch Groups through

the portal www.bitsaa.org Provides fund raising resources for BITSians & Friends of BITS in need of support

2. BITSAA International likes to: Create Global projects to give back to BITS Pilani Create Global projects to enhance the network among BITSians

3. BITSAA International is NOT BITSAA USA Genesis as a 501(C3) non-profit in New Jersey with active encouragement of Late Diro &

VC Prof. Venkateswaran, Prof. L K Maheshwari Now run by a 100+ strong global team called the “BITSAA Leaders” Ygroup. Weekly Conference Call every Sunday for the past 3 years. Individual Team Meetings.

Over 100 hours/year worldwide conference calls in discussing how to contribute to BITS Pilani

Fundraising Team

• Fundraising – Raise funds to support BITSian

initiatives and causes– Doing Fundraisers , Telethons – Online Marketing – BITSAA Merchandise

Telethons , Fundraisers , credit cards, E-store ..

We devise ways to “raise” money for charitable causes. It is an ideal test bed to test your crazy ideas for selling things to consumers!




Scholarships and Awards Team

• Manage and operate the different Scholarships – Merit Cum Need– Graduate Application – Travel & Loan Scholarships– Miles Program

• Publicize and run different BITSAA awards

Our Goal is help and inspire as many students and faculty as possible to make sure money is

not a hindrance in pursuing their dreams!




BITSAA Outreach and Chapter Relations

• Reach out to chapters to bring them under the Global BITSAA Umbrella brand – Help re-energize dormant Chapters– Share best-practices among Chapters– Share the Vision of BITS and BITSAA

• Create and maintain targeted lists of BITSians across chapters, batches, industries

• Coordinate with the local chapter volunteers / leadership to broadcast the latest happenings in the Chapter to the entire BITSAA Universe

BITSAA Operations

• We are at the helm and firing line of all day-day operations of BITSAA International as an organization, from being involved in coordinating b/w various teams and the CXO team to hand-holding special projects, strategizing and running pilots.

Time and Commitment is the key..

This is a pure leadership role. You will be teaming up with the CXO team to run the

Organization!
