DepositTo reserve your date and time, the full payment of the base package price is required when booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for deposit and final payment.

Commonly Asked Questions

what are the reCoMMeNded ages for a Zoo Party?We recommend our parties for children between the ages of 2-10.

do we get a guided tour of the Zoo with our Party?Admission to the zoo is included in your party package; you and your guests are welcome to spend the entire day at the zoo. However, we do not provide a tour.

how loNg does a Zoo Party last?Parties usually last between one hour and one and one half hours.

is there a MiNiMuM or MaxiMuM NuMber of guests?There is a minimum of 15 guests and a maximum of 35 guests (Any combination of adults and children).

CaN i briNg iN outside food to feed My adult guests?The Pittsburgh Zoo’s Catering Department has provided an extended adult menu to add to your party to increase the adults’ lunch menu. You also have the option to order additional 12-cut pizzas for eighteen dollars each.

soMe of My guests are Zoo MeMbers, does it ChaNge the PriCe of My guests?The only member discount that we offer is for the host of the party and it is a reduced pricing of both your party package and additional guests. All guests will be charged the same base price regardless if they have their own membership.

Fall, Winter, and Spring: Parties are held Saturday and Sunday only

Summer (June, July, and August): Parties are held daily

Scheduled Times: 11am, 11:30am, 2pm, 2:30pm

Certain dates and holidays may not be available due to other Zoo events. Zoo hours vary at different times of the year.

ReservationsReservations must be made at least one month in advance. We do recommend, however, that you make your plans as early as possible because dates do book quickly and early!
