CryoGen® Tubes CLEARLine®Increase productivity with the CryoGen® vials, workstations and storage boxes.The Biosigma CryoGen® vial system is designed for cryogenic storage of biological specimens at temperatures as low as -196°C. This innovative high-purity line features outstanding leak resistance with a rubber o-ring molded into the screw-cap. Vials are manufactured in accoradance with the quality guidelines ISO 13485:2003 in compliance with ISO 14644 and 14698 (Federal Standard 209) in a Class 7 cleanroom (Class 10,000). These vials are certified to be DNA, DNase, RNase, pyrogen and ATP free by an indipendent external laboratory*. Each lot is sterilized by beta radiation**. Small-lot packaging ensure sterility and usage control.On each tube is printed a unique bar-code, with replaces the old labels for storage. Further quality checks are performed by our laboratory. Tubes made in polypropylene medical grade, caps in polyethylene medical grade; these raw ma-terials are tested in according to “the United States Pharmacopoeia” (USP ISO 99) and with a “Drug Master File” (DMF) at the FDA.*Certificate of Analysis and Certificate of Quality availabe upon request.**Beta radiation sterilization performed in accordance with EN ISO 11137.

CryoGen® Box 100

Features:Boxes in polycarbonate for CryoGen® Tubes storage. Different models are available to accommodate either 25, 81 or 100 CryoGen® tubes. These durable cryogenic storage boxes are designed to be used at temperatures between -196°C and +121°C and are autoclavable at 120°C, for 20 minutes. A transpar-ent cover with a pad printed or engraved numbering allows the user to see the contents of the box, and is keyed to the base to prevent misalignment. 25 and 81 places have a colored grid (Picture 1) that can be jointed with the bottom (Picture 2). Grids and lids have a double 45° edge (Picture 3) to make closure easier. 100 place boxes have special divider that allow to maximize the pace. 4 colours available: Light blue, Red, Green and Yellow.

Fast-Read 102®

The advantage of employing Fast-Read 102® is the ease in determinating the cells per µl in the specimen. The samples prepared by other methods typically contain various elements, which are often extremely difficult to determine for the presence of epithelial cells.With the use of the M-T System you get a smaller number of epithelial cells present in each field, reducing thus the possibility of overlap with other cel-ls, this system, which ensures a result more accurate and precise, facilitate to the technicians the determination of the presence of cellular elements.After examining, under a microscope, the area of Fast-Read 102® with a lower magnification, it will pass to an higher magnification to analyze each cellular element accordingly .

How to count the cellsAfter microscope reading, to quantify cells on the small grid ( 1 mm x 1 mm, volume 0,1 μl ). For no. of cells/UL computation, it must observ example here below where it has been counted 3 cells in 1 mm² of grid:

It’s very important matter during urine sedimentation count, that operators always use the same sample preparation method in order to have tests’ repeatibility. Furthermore, with traditional urine reading system actually in use in many laboratories, sedimentation compaction creates a superimposition of epithelial cells. That cause difficulties in verifying the presence amount of different cells components. With Biosigma patented M-T System it is possible to overcome this inconveniences in a few standardisation steps during sample preparation. Here steps as follows:

1) Place BAP074 tests tubes, contai-ning urine to be analysed, into express rack BSL130 and then centrifuge.

2) Insert tribulb M-T Microtips BSV143 making sure to trap the tubes

3) Overturn the rack to come out the supernatant

BSV143M-T Microtips®: a special calibration and design that allows you to block 1 ml of urine sediment on the bottom tube. With this pipette you’ll be able to standardize the urinary sediment in 1ml, creating the right proportion between 10 ml of urine collected in a tube and 1ml of urine sediment that remains stuck in the bottom of the tube.

Object of the inventions is to eliminate the inconvenience of cassette’s accidental opening during processing resulting in a loss of the sample and at the same time to allow an easy opening of cassette.

Photo 1: This object is achieved with the presence of a hook closure front facing the inside of the cassette that in case of voluminous sample resists to accidental opening.

Photo 3: Moreover, the presence of special ribs located on the lid, pre-vents the forward movement thereof with respect to the body of the cassette, ensuring the insertion and sealing of the two rear hooks into the appropriate slits (Photo 2) , thus avoiding the opening of the cassette on the back.
