Extension sets for BIOROCK installations
Height is adjustable for deep water inlet
INSTALLATIONof the BIOROCK units
The installation of the BIOROCK unit takes 1 to 2 days
Installation
1) Excavation of the hole The influent pipe will determine the depth of the excavation
- The difference between the water inlet and the bottom of the tank is 1,400 mm
2) Installation of the tanks- The water should flow by gravity to the Primary Tank and onwards into the BIOROCK unit
- The height difference water inlet and water outlet is 1.14 m
Installation 3) Pipe connections connect all pipes before filling the tanks with water Use PVC pipe, 110 mm Check the water tightness of the connections The effluent should flow by gravity Ensure that the effluent filter in the primary tank is easily accessible
4) Backfill with lean mix, pea gravel or concrete and fill both tanks with water at the same time
Fill both primary tank and BIOROCK unit progressively with clean water
Backfill in equal layers at the same time
Installation
The BIOROCK treatment plant is now ready for use
never compact mechanically. never use the excavated ground for backfilling. always use concrete in high ground water conditions.
Installation of a BIOROCKL unit:
Installed BIOROCK unit
Water distribution: Adjust height & rotate pipes

Annual maintenanceMaintenance of the BIOROCK unitsClean the effluent filter in the outlet of the Primary tank.
Check the water quality in the effluent pipe.
Visual check of the BIOROCK Media.
Empty the primary tank at 50% level (Normally 3-4 years)
The tanker must park at least 4 meters away from the installation during emptying.4M
10 Advantages of the BIOROCK STP:
Durable & ReliableLong absence periods possible.
Lowest operational costsNo mechanical and electrical components.
Long de-sludge intervalPrimary tank requires emptying every 3-4 years only.
Compact & light: Plug and PlayAs a result the installation is very simple and fast.
Completely silent

10 Advantages of the BIOROCK STP:6. No electricity required Except to run a small pump to uplift clear water, if required
7. No moving parts No spare parts to be replaced in the treatment plant
Low carbon footprintAs no electricity is required, the CO2 emissions relating to the production of the electricity are not present
Superb effluent quality
2 stages (Large primary tank + Bioreactor)As a result the BIOROCK STP is tolerant of milk, beer, fats, tampons, baby wipes and all types of sanitary items.
8. NachhaltigkeitNahezu kein CO2 Aussto.
