Plant: Coniferous trees are abundant roots long to anchor trees needles long, thin, and waxy. Low sunlight and poor soil keeps plants from growing.

Animal: Thick fur or feathers tom keep warm. Some have sharp claws for climbing trees. The color white is to hide in the snow and the color brown is to hide in the trees.
