A) The pre-s~udy tours, with starting points in : Coper~hagen primarily concer- ning peat for energy C,~penhagen prima- rily concerning straw and energy crops.

Stockhollm primarily concerning fores- try residues. The tours wil l include de- monstrations of the whole concepts from the original resource to the final util ity such as househeating, electric power or synthetic fuel.

B) The Conference.

In different seminars the total concept of biomass for energy with some accent

on biomass for heating and power pur- poses wil l be analyzed. The speakers wil l be international and the main language is to be English. Simultaneous interpreta- tion wil l be provided in French and German.

C) The ,.~peciall Tropi!c Semi~na,rs.

Parallel with the = main conference, the University of Gothenburg plans to arrange a number of highly qualified discussions. It is possible to not requests on the atta- ched form.
