A Few Simple Steps and an Old Paint Can Go Out with the Trash

Starting in October, you'll only have to go as far as your trash can to dispose of your old orunwanted latex paint. We're introducing a new latex paint disposal process in an effort toprotect the environment and reduce costs. Latex paint isn't hazardous, so it can be safelydisposed of in the trash once it has dried up and become solid. Is your paint oil-based? TheChesterfield Convenience Centers will be holding events to give residents the opportunity todispose of up to five gallons of oil-based paint, free of charge. For instructions of drying outyour latex paint and more information on our new paint disposal program, visit our paintdisposal website.
