2015 Binghamton Mets Game Notes Page 1 LAST GAME: The B-Mets shutout Erie, 5-0, behind Gabriel Ynoa Thursday night at Jerry Uht Park. Ynoa tossed a com- plete game one-hitter for the win. It was the fourth solo nine-inning one-hitter in B-Met history and the first since 2000. Offensively, Aderlin Rodriguez hit his eighth home run of the season. Michael Conforto drove in two runs, while LJ Mazzilli and Josh Rodriguez each had two hits. Binghamton out-hit Erie 11-1 in the win. BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Michael Gibbons makes his Double-A debut today for the B-Mets. The right-hander signed a pro contract with the Mets in August 2014 after three seasons at Wheaton College (DIII) in Norton, Massa- chusetts. Gibbons fills in for the promoted Luis Cessa. ERIE STARTER: LHP Josh Turley is making his 15th start and first against Binghamton. Turley has won back-to-back starts, allowing one earned run in 14 innings combined. Turley has walked none and struck out 11 during that time. He’s earned a decision in eight consecutive starts. It will be his first home start since June 4th. Turley faced Binghamton at Jerry Uht Park last August, allowing three runs in six innings for the loss. LEFTY RUGGERIO: Binghamton is 8-11 against lefty starting pitchers this season. The B-Mets are batting .258 against southpaws, three points higher than their team average against righty pitching (.255). It’s the first lefty starter they facing in eight games. NEXT DAY’S STARTER: Binghamton is 4-1 in games after throwing a shutout this season. The B-Mets have a 1.40 ERA in the five games, allowing 13 total runs. LAST GAME: The B-Mets shutout Erie, 5-0, behind Gabriel Ynoa Thursday night at Jerry Uht Park. Ynoa tossed a com-plete game one-hitter for the win. It was the fourth solo nine-inning one-hitter in B-Met history and the first since 2000. Offensively, Aderlin Rodriguez hit his eighth home run of the season.
