The clothing lines and store design are going to focus on attracting men and women between the ages of 16 and 25. The type of people to be targeted are ones with a very relaxed and “laid back” style.

Target Market

Anthony Lopez is a 25 year old man wanting to run a large scale corporation selling multiple brands of clothing. Anthony himself is very laid back and wants to represent that through his company. The word “offhand” was chosen because of its meaning and relation to Anthony’s personality. He wants the store itself to convey a modern twist on a “carefree” design.

The word “offhand” means “informal, casual.” A synonym of the word is “carefree” which is self-defined. Because water portrays that word so well and fits the style and attitude of the clothing designs, water is the main inspiration for the design.

The color scheme for this design includes several hues of blue and blue-green, as well as brown and white, to portray a natural, earthy feel.

The walls will be a very light, off-white color with string lights hanging from the ceiling behind the shelves as well as in front of the POS. The countertop of the POS will be wood and a custom sign will be built and backlit representing the name and logo of the company. The floor materials will be a combination of reclaimed wood and stained concrete. Custom tables will be built to hold clothing and accessories. These custom tables will be wood fused with metal. Flourescent track lighting will also be presented along the open ceiling.
