BIM Content Manager – The BIM content manager provides the user with the option to conveniently prototype

a digital IFC model and to accurately determine building element quantities to create a room book. BoQ items can

be integrated into the intelligent building objects so that Bill of Quantities can be automatically generated by trade

to produce cost data with any design changes are refl ected in the real-time cost calculation. Company-specifi c

master data or external catalogues can also be easily integrated.

Project space – In order to ensure all authorized participants have on-site access to view and access the project

model and information they need, BIM4You offers web-based project space – a feature that no other BIM solution

currently offers. This space supports close collaboration, data updates via mobile terminals and is very useful when

coordinating additional project stages such as fi nal inspections and defi ciency management. The bidding portal

provides for fl exible handling and evaluation of bids for every subsection. BIM4You can also calculate all direct costs

associated with the project model to facilitate additional project stages. An accurate construction programme is then

created in conjunction with the work preparation phase.

BIM4You enables convenient, transparent, and accurate costing of construction projects, from development

Open BIM – BIM4You, all information concerning a project can be accessed in the form of drawings and data

packages. The IFC standard, which is already supported by all common CAD programs, allows design data to

The model-based 5D planning logic that comes with BIM4You facilitates transparent and streamlined building

processes. To integrate the factors of cost (4D) and time (5D) in the 3D planning environment, BIM4You links

the geometric and graphic model data to room and object information from the BIM content database as well

as to the construction timetable. This, in turn, makes it possible to reliably estimate outlay and allows precise

statements to be made about the construction budget and completion dates.

BIM4You is a real-time web-based solution that enables users to integrate external catalogues and individual master

database to build a comprehensive BIM content database. BOBs (building objects) and iBOBs (intelligent building

objects) are combined to create logical spatial units (e.g. bathroom, offi ce) and are a product of the architectural know-

how amassed from being involved in the construction industry for decades. This gives full control over costs of material

and accurate information of what is required to complete the project. BOBs and iBOBs not only account for all basic
