Real-time InfoProvider: For storing the data
Aggregation level: As the basis of the input-ready query
Input-ready query: For data entry
First step: Creating an aggregation level on top of a real-time InfoProvider

The BI Integrated Planning screen appears. You want to create a simple aggregation level for data entry, so you
tart the web-based planning modeling tool: the planning modeler.s

Log on to the system. Use the same user ID and password as for the CIM system.
The initial screen for the Planning Modeler appears. You want to create an aggregation level on top of real-time
InfoProvider PM_SDP00. Enter PM_SDP00 in the InfoProvider field and start the search.

The system finds the InfoProvider and you select it as the basis of the aggregation level. Go to the next tab page:
Aggregation Level.
Create a new aggregation level.

On the left-hand side of the screen, the system displays the objects in the aggregation level.
Open the dimensions. You see the characteristics that are part of these dimensions.

Navigate to the characteristic values and select value Approved for characteristic Plan version and the
variable characteristic value Exit Variable mit UserName (Exit Variable with User Name) for characteristic
User Version. Use drag and drop to move these to the Characteristic Restrictions screen area.
Select the characteristic Calendar Year and restrict it by choosing the appropriate entry from the context menu.You access the context menu by right-clicking on the object.
In the drop-down box, select value Value Ranges.

Move the characteristics Country and Calendar Year to the Default Values field. You use these
characteristics to define the rows and columns on the next tab page, Rows/Columns.
On the start screen of the query, you want to include all the characteristic combinations of the characteristics
Country and Calendar Year. Select characteristic Country and in the properties pane, on the Extended
tab page, select the Master Data radio button. Do the same with the Calendar Year characteristic.
Go to the Rows/Columns tab page.

You need to include a key figure in the input-ready query. Move the Sales key figure to the columns. Move the
Country characteristic to the rows.
Create the planning-specific property for each planning key figure. Select the Sales key figure and go to theplanning tab page in the property pane.
Select the third radio button Data can be changed using user entries or planning functions.

You want to check whether the cells are input ready. Enter any value in a cell. Right click to access the context
menu and choose Transfer Values. If the cells are input ready, the system calculates the result. In this case,othing happens.n
To make cells input ready, you have to change the query design.

Use drag and drop to move characteristic Calendar Year from the filter to the columns of the query.
Enter any value in the cell and right click to access the context menu.

Choose Transfer Values to refresh the plan buffer. The system calculates the result.
To save the data on the database, call the context menu a second time. Choose Save Values. The system writes
the data to the database.
Save the query as a workbook.
