This McGraw-Hill Florida Math training focuses on the digital technology components for grades 6-8 mathe-matics teachers. Participants will learn how to inte-grate the new built-in technology components and resources that support differentiated instruction, as-sessment, and effective whole group and small group instruction. After an overview the McGraw-Hill online platform, teachers will learn about the 3 E's of its tech-nology components: e-Assessment, e-Solutions, and e-Toolkit with Virtual Manipulatives. Additionally, partici-pants will learn how Geometer's Sketchpad can be uti-lized when teaching concepts related to Geometry. Lastly, teachers will explore components of the McGraw-Hill digital platform which allow students to practice with tech-enhanced math problems.

Effective Preparation and Implementation of

MAFS Lessons: Quarter 2 (Grades K-5)

Teachers will participate in a full-day session in which they will learn about the rationale and tools for effec-tively preparing and implementing MAFS. Based on lessons learned from FDOE information/data and Achievement Level Descriptions (ALD), participants will navigate through the different components of the District 2nd nine weeks Mathematics Pacing Guides and learn how to strategically implement lessons for upcoming topics.
