at 2014 biking events.
Rust Belt Battle of the Bikes1,300 Clevelanders competed in National Bike Challenge. We
logged 696,000 miles in just five months, saving over 311,000 pounds of carbon dioxide.
700+ peoplebiked to work through 7 bike-to-work day events, with the Cleveland Bike
Rack.
Bike Lane Installationon Detroit Ave, Edgehill Rd, and Superior Ave., total 30% increase.

Community conversation & advocacy for bike lanes on Madison Avenue, Triskett Avenue,
Denison Avenue, Pearl Road, East 72nd Street and Lakeshore Blvd.
Cleveland neighborhood outreach through Bike Fix-a-thons and bike light giveaway events.
Fixed 55 bikes and distributed 70 lights to un-lit people on bikes.
Countywide complete streets policy and design guidelines to facilitate a countywide
approach for better bicycling, in partnership with Cuyahoga County.
Completed bike share task force feasibility studyand implementation plan for moving the
idea forward with RTA and the City of Cleveland.
I Bike. I Vote.educated voters on candidates commitment to bicycle facilities and safety.
