Song Sheet for Today

Five Cities Rams Song Leader Don Frommelt & Richard Roberts

America the Beautiful Blue Skies Oh, beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, Blue shies, smiling at me, For purple mountain majesties above the fruited plain. Nothing but blue skies do I see. America! America! God shed His grace on thee, Bluebirds, singin’ a song, And crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea. Nothing but bluebirds from now on. Oh! Beautiful for patriots dream that sees beyond the years - Never saw the sun shining so bright. Thine alabaster cities gleam undimmed by human tears. Never saw things going so right. America! America! God shed His grace on thee, Never saw the days scurryin’ by, And crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea. When you’re in love, my how they fly. Blue days, all of them gone, Auld Lang Syne Nothing but blue skies from now on. Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and days of auld lang syne? For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld land syne We’ll take a cup of kindness yet, for auld lang syne. Whiffenpoof Song To the table down at Mory’s. to the place where Louis dwells, To the dear old Temple Bar we love so well. Sing the Whiffenpoofs, as-sembled, with their glasses raised on high, And the magic of their singing casts its spell. Yes, the magic of their singing of the songs we love so well: “Shall I Wasting” and “Ma-vourneen” and the rest. We will serenade our Louis, while life and voice shall last; Then we’ll pass … and be for-gotten with the rest. We’re poor little RAMs who have lost our way; Baa! Baa! Baa! We’re little black sheep who have gone a-stray: Baa! Baa! Baa! Gentlemen song-sters, off on a spree, doomed from here to E -ternity; Lord, have mercy on such as we; Baa! Baa! Baa! (slow) Lord, have mercy on such as we; Baa! Baa! Baa!
