European Big Data Value Public Private Partnership (BDV cPPP)
The European contractual Public Private Partnership on Big Data Value (BDV cPPP) was signed on 13 October 2014 marking the commitment of the European Commission, industry and partners from academia to build a data-driven economy across Europe. The cPPP programme has been operationalised with the launch of the LEIT work programme 2016/2017 with the first cPPP projects starting on January 2017. BDVA is the private counterpart to the European Commission to implement the Big Data Value PPP program.
Big Data Value plays a central role in the implementation of the European Digital Single Market strategycontributing to its different pillars.
