    1.Responsibilities:- RETAIL OPERATIONSProfitability

    Sets target for each sales staff in the department in consultation withfloor manager.

    Ensures that the set targets are achieved.

    Budgets expenses to keep costs low & maximize profitability.Scheduling

    Ensures scheduling of weekly offs so proper coverage is maintainedon daily basis.

    Monitoring daily/ weekly targets vs. achievement.

    Plans action plan for each day & ensures that it is implemented.Store Opening & Closing

    Ensures that shop opening closing as per schedule & tallying casheveryday.

    Ensures that the Checklist is being followed for the purpose.

    Ensures cash counter closing and tallying, everyday.Punctuality

    Manages timings and shifts of their staff. Ensures that the staffs are punctu

    Keeps track of compensatory offs, leaves and absenteeism of thestaff.

    Ensures that department is kept clean & hygiene is maintained.Maintenance of the Department

    Ensures that proper maintenance of electrical fittings, racks etc. inthe department.

    Ensures that their department is kept neat & tidy.

    Ensures proper housekeeping is done including dusting.

    Visual Merchandising

    Maintain the premium look of the Department in consultation with the VM.

    Guide the Sales Staff in terms of product displays, product highlight areas,mannequin, positioning of signage / posters, layout plans etc.

    Ensure that the Communication vehicles are in place.

    In charge for product display, product highlight areas, mannequin,

    positioning of signage, posters, layout plans.Merchandise handling & Replenishments

    Understands the Merchandise policy from Category Management team.

    Coordinates with merchandisers at Zonal Office for replenishments, removal of Non-moving Stock, for implementation of Schemes.

    Ensures that replenishments of stock are done timely to for optimum stocin all the sections.

    Ensures that merchandise is displayed as per the instructions of the Catego

    Management team Obtains Stock Cover Dump from IT Department & Calculates Stock Covers

    Analyses the Level of Stock and Sales in their department - Brand wise, Uwise & Item wise with respect to Value and Quantity.

    Analyses Warehouse Stock and Store Stock for all products - Item wise.

    Analyses the Sales Reports.

    Keeps track of selling and non-selling items & slow and fast movers.

    Keeps track of order from Warehouse or Order from MerchandisersSuppliers, if enough stock is not available in the warehouse.

    Outward non-moving stock to the warehouse. Ensures clearance of all soiled & damaged merchandise.

    Customer Service

    Handles customer complaints & requests /issues, informing about theschemes running on products. Receives schemes formulated by category managers

    Providing of schemes information to Staff, Head Cashiers, and CSD aCommercial Department.

    Coordinates with VM for signage display and maintenance.

    Report Making Ensures generation of Weekly, Monthly reports related to Sales,Stock position, staffing, best Sellers - slow sellers etc. & is provided to theconcerned on timely basis.

    Schemes

    Receives schemes formulated by Category Manager.

    Ensures that identified merchandise and is arranged according to the natuof the scheme.

    Ensures handover of the scheme details NEW POS department.

    Ensures that the stocks required are on the floor on a timely basis.Updates the team members about the scheme.

    Ensures to remove all the VM items on expiry of the scheme.Development & Motivation

    Motivates & briefs TM/TL to go for the seminars & exhibitions, to know thecurrent trends.

    Develops subordinate in terms of work skills

    Addresses performance issues candidly & constantly.

    Finds opportunities to develop & stretch others & readily shares ownknowledge & experience.

    2.Responsibilities: HR

    Manpower Planning Budgeted Vs Actual, Employee Productivity;Attrition Rate; Manpower Cost Rationalisation.

    Ensures that correct employee database is maintained as per format. Ensures Personal Dossiers of all store employees are maintained &updated regularly.

    Maintains Attendance, Leave Cards and Compensatory Off details ofall store employees

    Coordinates in completing all joining and separation formalities fornew joinees & resigned employees respectively & conducting EXITINTERVIEW for the latter employees.

    Preparing & maintaining daily /weekly/monthly HR Activity Reports.

    Ensures that correct MIS reports are generated on time. Adhering to Statutory Compliance for PF, ESIC & Gratuity etc.

    Uniform & kit distribution

    Issuing of ID & RFID cards

    Issuing of Offer Letters / Appointment letters to new joinees upto TM ,TL & support functions (Band 1) after doing reference checks.

    Ensuring issuing of employee confirmation / increment/ promotionletters to TM, TL & support functions (Band 1).

    Conducting employee engagement activities on regular basis

    3. Responsibilities: Marketing

    Ensures day-to-day coordination with category & stores for salespromotion.

    To ensure Concept Planning through marketing, promotional plan &tie-ups for specific stores.

    Ensures providing feedback of the advertisements to the reporting

    head Providing comparison of promotions

    Providing new ideas for implementation.

    Checking/Correcting all the Media/Press advertisements contents.

    Preparation of checklist for marketing activities across all stores.

    Carrying out market research & customer survey to assess demandbrand positioning & awareness

    Analysis of the Promotions Vs Sales & Footfall.

    Information dissemination across zone regarding Press Ad, Media

    plans and up coming promotions. Reports, feedbacks and presentations on ongoing and upcomingpromotions.

    Planning for New Stores openings and Marketing activities.

    Concurrent planning of activities to enhance sales and footfalls.

    Ensuring relationship management within & outside organisation

    Converting browsers into buyers through effective sales promotion.
