Grew up Speaking Spanish. Mom was from Cuba
Mom was a Spanish teacher too!
My Cuban grandparents are/were a very BIG part of my life
Traveled to Spain, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and last summer…CUBA!!!
Course Objectives
To foster a love for Spanish culture and language
Prepare students for Spanish II, either regular or honors
Finish 3 units (each unit has 2 chapters)
Have fun!!!!
Grading20% Homework (not too much in the beginning, but should expect something every weeknight (no weekends)..\Spanish stamp and grade sheet.doc
25% tests/projects (usually 1 per mp)
35% quizzes (given each Friday)
20% class participation & preparation

Sign up for the Spanish word of the day. I accept 5 words per test/quiz for extra credit.
